This measure aims to support startups, with projects that promote business models, digital products or services with a positive contribution to the climate transition through high efficiency in the use of resources, that allow the reduction of pollution impacts, that promote the circular economy, that constitute new energy production solutions and / or that are characterized by the use of Open Data or Artificial Intelligence, namely:
> Start-up and growth support - Funding for early-stage start-ups;
> Support for participation in ignition and acceleration programs - Funding for startups applying for ignition or acceleration programs;
> Support for the development of pilot projects - Funding for the demonstration of technology or business model/service, developed by startups, which allows the Startup to demonstrate its technology and prove its effectiveness.
Start-ups taking the form of SMEs, of any nature or legal form, which have been established for less than 10 years, are eligible for support.
The support is granted in the form of non-reimbursable funding, and the following are considered eligible expenses:
- Costs of existing or to be hired human resources for the activities to be carried out under the project up to 75% of the total eligible costs;
- Expenditure on accreditation or technological certification of human resources;
- Procurement of Specialized External Services, such as services to support the digitalization of business processes, marketing services, product and service development, consultancy and other specialized services to achieve the project objectives;
- Purchase or operational rental of equipment, as well as software licensing or subscription costs, intended for the activities to be carried out under the project;
- Costs for the protection/valorization of intellectual property rights;
- Indirect costs.
The expected indirect costs are calculated on the basis of simplified costs, based on the application of the flat rate of 15% of human resources costs.
The deadline for submission of applications remains open until the receipt of applications that reach the limit determined according to the budget allocation defined in Point 18 of Notice No. 10/C16-i02/2022.
